Google Docs

Google docs is an online office suite, that helps manage your files such as document, excel, PowerPoint presentation, pdf, psd files, zip and rar files, etc. You can make one of those file online or upload your files from your computer. Google docs is free, but apply additional charges for extra storage. you can also access your accounts from some phones as long as you are connected to the internet.
Google docs is a great help especially for student, because of the document-sharing feature, where you can decide who can access your files and help you in a collaborative manner. And because it is on the internet you can accessed your file from any computer anywhere. Data safety and privacy is not a problem although there are minimal cases of bug but Google says that it is fixed.
Now, I have tried Google docs and must say that it is useful, where I can upload important file and make it as a back-up to be sure. I can recommend some people I know to use Google docs, it can help not just students but also in business and personal uses.

Classroom Debate - a realization !!!

I have experienced debate on classrooms before, where the class is divided into groups and each will stand for their beliefs and defend it as much as they can. I just experienced a class debate recently, where we are divided into six groups and given three questions to defend, each group will have another group to be their critic and asks questions to them, the rests of the groups will grade the defenders. If you’re the defender you should defend your answers from the critics, and grade them based on their performance.
At first, I became nervous because you should know well about the topics given by the professor to defend, but then it was a relief because it is your classmates who will be the critic (still my professor graded us individually). Being the first group to present, our presentation went well, we exchange ideas with our critic, they disagree with some of our answers, and it became intense (haha!!). As it continue we keep on giving each other words that may convince the other group. In the end we have to grade them and grade us back (it depends on the grade they gave us if their convinced with what were saying :D). All the groups defend their side and critic another group. After all its still a fair play.
Having a debate is such a nice experience, you've got to be on the front of the class discussing and critic them back (it’s time for revenge :P). Being in front of the class as the defender, is a good way to gain confidence (or to lessen your so called stage fright) so when the time came that you have to face critics again you will not feel so nervous. As being a critic you should be very observant with what others say, you can disagree but still you should be open-minded with their answers (it's fine if you were convinced), you should not be bias and don’t take it personally.

REVOLUTION OF OS

This documentary is about Linux operating system, how it is developed, who are the people involved and how it affects the dominant operating system that time, the Windows operating system. When Richard Stallman started the Free Software/GNU Project, he thought that open source is a way where different ideas of different people can be collaborated to create a better operating system. All people who can contribute to its improvement can give their ideas and be acknowledged with it.  As a result of that many people start to join the movement, then Linus Torvalds create a kernel and called it Linux, a new operating system that is recognized for its speed and being an open source. Linux is from UNIX but all the program are replaced on 1991, where the first version was out at the internet. As more and more people start to know about Linux, they modify it and make their own contributions, then Linux’ improved versions are almost out every year, Linux became popular and companies started to use open source software.
The idea of open source where people can give their ideas and can be a help to other people is really good. Programmers can also get some of ideas 2from open source software and can think of new ideas for the improvement of it for creating new and good software. Open source also have the agreement where people can modify and download it but they have to share it to other people too. So many people can contribute and make improvement even they don’t originally do the software. Open source is free, licensed software is affected by it because some people would prefer to use free software.
